Seattle, February 15, 2003 many thousands of people came out to oppose the Iraq invasion in my hometown. Many millions protested around the world.

Few journalists and very few US politicians made meaningful protests. For protest to be effective they need support, the anti-invasion protestors were not supported by the press corp or by politicians, it was like a show with no audience.
